Job Responsibilities

You will work in open care supporting individuals to create more stable, secure, and functioning lives. You meet people where they are, without prestige, and help them find the next possible step forward – at their own pace.

Your job includes, among other things:

• Building trusting relationships and being a calm, stable support when life is chaotic
• Planning, implementing, and following up on interventions within social psychiatry and addiction
• Working therapeutically with a focus on change through evidence-based methods for the substance-dependent target group
• Supporting daily life regarding housing, routines, employment, finances, and meaningful leisure
• Collaborating with colleagues, social services, businesses, associations, and health care
• Documenting interventions in a structured, legally secure manner with respect for the individual

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is secure, curious about people, and can remain steady even when things get tough. You don’t need to be “perfect,” but you are ready to take responsibility – both for others and for yourself.

We see that you have:

• At least 2–3 years of experience working with addiction and mental health issues
• Post-secondary education as a social pedagogue, social worker, behavioral scientist, or similar
• Clear experience in treatment work with the substance-dependent target group and good knowledge of MI (motivational interviewing)
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing, as well as experience with documentation
• Ability to create structure, set clear boundaries, and still maintain warmth and respect
• Personal maturity, flexibility, and security in meetings with difficult conversations and complex situations
• Training and experience working with evidence-based treatment methods for addiction.

Meritorious:

• Training and experience working with ESL (independent living).
